Training for Control of HIV/AIDS in M.P.

HIV/AIDS is not only a challenge to health problems but also related to life style of a normal human being becomes a matter of social awareness. To create this awareness, we have to impart training to medical officers, health workers and also to those who can help in control of HIV/AIDS epidemic.

M.P. AIDS Control Society had divided its target audience in mainly two groups:








Persons related to field of Medical Sciences

For capacity building of Medical Specialists, Medical Officers, Nursing Staff, Laboratory Technicians and Other Paramedicals trainings have been undertaken in all Government Medical College, All Regional Health & Family Welfare Training Centers (RHFWTCs) and in all District level training centers.

Persons related to the field of Social Sciences

HIV/AIDS control Programme is a multidimensional Programme therefore involvement of NGOs, Counsellors, Teachers and even public representative is very important. Under the AIDS Control Programme training progrmmes have been conducted for Counsellors working under the ICTCs, NGOs working in Targetted Intervention Projects.

 

These training are conducted at three regional training centers (RTCs) at Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur and other District training centers See Map.
