One
of the best places for people with AIDS to be cared, is a Home.
Looking at the HIV/AIDS scenario in Madhya Pradesh an increase in
the number of HIV positive has been noted. Due to the increase in
AIDS cases the hospital burden will eventually increase. In view
of this community based care for PLWHA who need care and support,
both at the clinical and social level, is required.
Foreseeing the need for community based care,
an exercise is on to set up Community Care Centres in M.P.

for effective implementation of AIDS control programme in MP. It
is an autonomous institution, funded by National AIDS control organization
