FAMILY
HEALTH AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
Objectives
Implementation
 |
RTI/STD
are wide spread due to biomedical, behavioral and social factors
in urban as well as rural population. Presence of RTI/STI facilitates
the acquisition and transmission of HIV infection 3 to 10 times.
Early diagnosis and effective treatment of RTI/STD can significantly
reduce HIV transmission.
|
| Awareness

individuals and societies towards safe sex and other healthy practices
. Family health awareness campaign (FHAC) is a strategy through
which the target population (between the age-group 15-49 years)
is made aware of the risks. Early detection and prompt treatment
