Canada.ca New CPP / OAS Pension Amounts July 2025
New OAS Amount: As per the updates, the OAS benefits in July 2025 is adjusted due to change in CPI. This CPI change leads to 1% raise in Old age security payments. So, for the third quarter from July to September 2025, the OAS amounts are:

New CPP Amount: Canada Pension Plan only adjusted once a year in January and this year in January, the CPP Payment amount has been adjusted as per CPI and inflation and now in July 2025, there is no change in CPP Payment. The amount remains the same as $1433 per month.
CRA OAS + CPP Eligibility Changes July 2025
OAS Eligibility Changes: Due to 1% raise, only Annual income limits get adjusted. The other eligibility requirements related to age and residency remain the same.

CPP Eligibility Changes: As of July 2025, the CPP does not get adjusted and there is no change in the eligibility requirements. The same eligibility rules would be followed and these are:
- CPP can be started at 60 years of age but at this age the benefit amount provided would be lowered.
- For this Canada pension plan benefit, the applicant needs CPP contributions in their working years.
